The Dancing KING

Jackson loves all of the songs on The Little Mermaid. Since it's one of my Disney favorites, I don't mind watching it and the dances that Jackson does to the music. His favorites are "Under the Sea" and "Kiss the Girl." Here is what I was able to get. He didn't do his wiggle but I got a lot of the bouncing!

A Super Saturday...

Lots of new things this week...
Jackson’s typical “dance” used to be him clapping his hands 4 times and then wiggling. Now, he still claps and wiggles but then he spins in circles after! It’s too funny, especially when he giggles. I hope he doesn’t want to grow up to be a dancer because he really has no rhythm.

He also started saying “up” and holding up his arms when he wants you to pick him up. Whenever you tell him you love him, he gives you a kiss (he still comes at you with an open mouth though). Tonight when I was cleaning up from dinner, he was dropping the Tupperware pieces he’d taken out of one of the cabinets into the kitchen sink. I can’t believe he can reach that high! Then, he brought all four of the dogs’ food and water bowls to me in a stack and tried to put them in the dishwasher. Libby was mad! When I walked over to put them back I discovered the water all over the floor.

Now that Scott has a golf cart, I have a hard time getting Jackson into the car. Whenever we go out to the garage, he climbs into the golf cart. When I finally got him out of the golf cart today, he tried to climb in the jogging stroller and then took off running down the driveway. Here he is FINALLY getting into the car!

Brusha, Brusha, Brusha

When Jackson is brushing his teeth, he MUST have the toothbrush in one hand and the toothpaste in the other. Otherwise, there will be screaming or war faces until he has something in BOTH hands. He also does this with food & toys. He's a double-fister!

Easter Sunday

For Easter, we went to church on Saturday evening so Jackson could go to the egg hunt at the Country Club on Sunday morning. He only got one egg! Then we went to the ball room for Easter brunch with the Wilsons, my mom and my boss Jen and her husband Tom.

A Not So Good Friday

My mom and I took Jackson to Build A Bear on Good Friday to build him an Easter Bunny. The plan was to build the bunny and then have him get his picture taken with the Easter bunny in the mall. Well, Jackson pretty much cried and screamed all day on Friday. When we got him to Build A Bear, he went back and forth between enjoying the experience and throwing temper tantrums. We ended up with a bare chick since the bunnies looked too girly and after the chick got stuffed he didn't want to play anymore. I got a few pictures that weren't so horrible and they did call me when I accidentally left my camera there.

Daddy's Stuff

Jackson has this obsession with EVERYTHING of Scott's. His hat, his shoes, golf clubs, whatever he can get his hands on. It's so cute!

PS: Easter pictures will be coming soon...

I LOVE Building Stuff!
