Happy Mother's Day!

First, we'd like to apologize to those of you who get Mother's Day cards from us. We had computer issues last week so I couldn't get them to the printer until Saturday which means they didn't get postmarked until Saturday (or maybe even Monday). Hopefully you've received them by now! Now that our computer is back up and running (thanks to a quick call to Dell Technical Support) I can share our Mother's Day pictures with you! We went to the zoo with the Wilson family and afterwards, Scott, Jackson & I ran some errands in town. We had so much fun!

Driving Us Crazy

Jackson has figured out that if he sits inside his Tot Rod and presses the button on the steering wheel that it will move. He just hasn't figured out how the steering wheel will guide it yet. Thank goodness for the back handle! The Tot Rod disturbs Libby so much. She runs after it and barks. I took Jackson outside yesterday so he could drive it without crashing as often, me guide it less and not have to listen to Libby bark.

His favorite food is bananas and he's starting to look like a little boy, not a baby which kind of makes me both happy and sad. Sad because he was such a cute baby but happy because he's becoming such a handsome boy. A very curious handsome little boy...Notice he's trying to open the door to our room?

More Mischief

Today Jackson opened the door to the garage and ran outside. He's so fast, it's scary that he can open that heavy door now. Yesterday he dumped a box of Teddy Grahams all over the living room floor. Today it was Nilla Wafers in our bed after pulling a cup of red juice from the dining room table and spilling it EVERYWHERE (it was even on the walls).

15 Months

Jackson is 15 months old today. We went to the doctor and he only had to get one shot this time. His growth has slowed a little, he's only 88th percentile now for height & 80th for weight.

His favorite thing to say is "Uh oh Daddy." He deliberately drops and sometimes even throws things so he can say it. He also LOVES to give people five and to wave bye-bye. When I attempt to get him ready for bed, I have to chase him around the house holding his pajamas. Once he's ready to put them on, he'll lay down on top of them (usually with his head and feet right but sometimes upside down). He also likes to try to put his shoes on, brush his own hair and you all know he loves to brush his teeth!

Here he is running around the house (look at that belly!) and giving Daddy five!

Last Sunday...

Last Sunday the guys played golf (again - Andrea & I actually encouraged it this time) so we went to the home show and then did some shopping uptown. Jackson and the girls had so much fun playing in the water outside that Claudia kept yelling "water!" while we were shopping. It's not a good idea to take the kids to play BEFORE you shop.

During lunch, the kids were horrible! We looked around and noticed that every table around us had well-behaved children at their tables. We have NO CONTROL! I guess it's time to start enforcing discipline...Jackson got his first "real" spanking this week for throwing a temper tantrum. Have we hit the terrible twos early?

Happy Birthday Gamme!

I'll take you for a ride when you come to visit this summer!
