Kiddo Updates

Today, the boys went to the Doctor for Preston's 9 month appointment and Jackson for follow-up shots.

Jackson weighs 37.8 lbs (80th percentile)
He is 38 inches tall (75th percentile)

Preston is so little compared to Jackson at that age.
He weighs 17lbs, 11oz (10th percentile)
And is 28 inches tall (50th percentile)
His head is also in the 50th percentile at 45cm

We need to get that boy eating!

Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party

Jackson's third birthday party had a Mickey Mouse theme. Nonny, Janet, Regina and Cindy all flew in to celebrate with us!

Visting Tyler...and Hillsboro, and Austin Some More!

Since we were in Austin for two weeks, we borrowed a car from my mom (thanks Mom!) and drove to Tyler for a few days to see David and Alicia. We really enjoyed being able to spend time with them so much! It had been way too long!

On the way back to Austin, we stopped in Hillsboro to see Meemo and Poppie again.

We had several days left in Austin and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Opening Presents

Since we are in Austin for Christmas this year, we opened our presents from each other at home the night before Christmas Eve. Jackson still LOVES unwrapping all of the gifts. That seems to be more fun than playing with the presents themselves. Preston enjoyed it too.

Trail of Lights!

Sunday night we took the boys to the Trail of Lights at the Botanical Gardens. Jackson loved seeing "Miss-Muss" lights and Preston fell asleep.

We thought Jackson might enjoy it now that he's starting to understand a little more about Christmas and Santa. On Saturday, he told Santa he wanted cookies for Christmas. He wouldn't smile but at least he took a picture on Santa's lap this year!
